QUICK Tips Tricks:

This is a copy of quick tips I made for my camp Apex on SandCastle server. For some reason, it will not allow me to select SandCastle as my server in this post.

HOUSING

• - You can access all your cabinets on the floor via switch (bottom left) from one cabinet
  
  • - This means you can hide all your cabinets if you chose as long as you have one visible.
    
• - Seasons affect planting, rearing, and mining.
  
  • - You can buy wheat and other supplies from the guy outside the bank
    
• - You cannot remove load bearing structures such as walls that have furniture and floors above it.
• - Cooking Recipes can help you with different things from logging to cold weather.
• - Furniture Cert. allows you to make and SELL Adv. Fertilizer on the market.
• - Ammo Box in your house works off gunpowder and is a renewable resource for CHEAPLY reloading your gun ammo.
  

BOSSES

• - Many bosses have a poison skill which can only be cured with Antiseptic Meds (9Hemp) or Adv. Antiseptics
• - Bosses with jump mechanics can be avoided by hiding ON or BEHIND structures such as barricades or platforms.
  

MISKA

• - Zombies cannot reach you on bookcases.
• - You can kite (run around) zombies by jumping to next platform (sloping area) and they go back around the slope the long way during which time you can damage them.
• - If you damage bookcases in the rescue stage from far enough of a distance, zombie attackers will not appear.
  

EXPLORE

• - You can SHARE maps of chest exploration for special chests (gives bonus awards and achievement points)
• - Not all exploration chests are the same. You can SWITCH to a different line to try to match what chests others may have.
• - You can switch map lines via the TOP RIGHT of your map OR via teams switch lines if your teammates are on a different map.
  

FISHING

• - Auto fish (bottom right) has many miss chances which use up your bait.
• - Auto fish HAS A LIMIT on how many of each kind of fish you can catch.
• - You can HOLD or TAP your reel line to adjust to how hard the fish pulls.
  

GATHERING

• - You can POWER HIT gatherer resources. Charge up your hit to get higher chances for CRIT as well as ONE SHOT an entire Tree/Rock
• - Food buffs can make gathering QUICKER or have higher CRIT (extra resources)
• - Chests can hold polymer or film fabrics. The chests guarded by elite undead have higher chance of drops.
  

FarStar Tips and Tricks:

• - You can DROP anything listed as infected in your inventory when killed. (top left above item description)
• - It is a PvP Map when running across new players, point your gun at them to check PvP status. Players with Red Names who are targetable are likely to kill you.
• - You can MAKE Master Keys once you unlock the recipe to open LOCKED CHESTS.
  
  • - You’re likely to find chests WITHIN buildings or SPECIAL AREAS that are labeled on your map.
    
• - Aircrafts occasionally land and allow you to ship items back to your manor.
• - Mercenaries drop 50-100 CASH each.
  

Charlestown HOW TO:

• - BRING your highest level pickaxe and axe as well as bandages, gun&ammo/melee weapon.
• - YOU CAN make your base a MAZE for PvP events when others must break into the base. Spend time learning the layout to learn where things are and where to shoot from.
• - As you gather, eat berries and other fruits to recover your fullness.
• - Base in Charlestown UPGRADES off resources camp members donate to the construction box. The highest level we can upgrade the base the better we can defend it.
• - You can donate Tin, Wood, Stone, or Hemp to the camp construction.
• - The storage locker located in the base can store resources for you to send to your manor for later.
• - There is a fire to cook foods.
• - There is a repair station to repair gear.
• -DRONES appear on timers and allow you to charge them up to send resources back to your own manor.
• - DRONE PLACEMENT is VERY IMPORTANT. If there are other camp members on the map, tell them when placing a drone.
  
  • - During normal hours, it’s best to place drones NEAR a spot with a lot of resources.
  • - During PVP events drones should be placed NEAR OUR BASE EXIT.
    
• - There are LOCKED resource chests spread throughout the map along with unlocked ones. It’s very important to BRING MASTER KEYS during PVP events that chests are needed.
  
  • - Only TIN can be farmed on the map. Not iron ore.
  • - SPECIAL AREAS have higher chances of containing chests (the towns, mercenary and zombie protected areas such as power plant)
    
• - Anything INFECTED on you has a chance to drop when you die on PvP Maps. (Craft Master Keys with your own stone and wood OR only craft a few at a time)
