You have a way of choosing another profession, but how about keeping the same profession and just reallocating what skill points you unlocked inside the profession? Also in the major talents of combat, gathering, and crafting? I'd pay gold for sure, maybe even fed credits, for a way to reallocate these points.
In Ark: Survival Evolved there is a mindwipe tonic you can concoct to erase your knowledge but keep your experience. This allows you to adjust them later on (make it for a cost) when you know better.
