The Harvest Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节), is going to be celebrated in various Asian countries this month. This Festival will be celebrated on LifeAfter from 12th September, 2019 onwards in the next update!
-EXCLUSIVE-
New Bunny Pack is coming to the game with new Mid-Autumn outfits and 2 new bunny themed backpacks. The outfits come with an exclusive emote and players will also get the Festival Sale Pack upon buying the set.
Moreover, if you want to gift this outfit to your partner or friend, you can get a one-time discount for the same!
-EVENTS-
The warmth of the festival is bringing 5 events to the game.
Mooncake is the traditional food for the festival. During the activity period, players that have reached manor level 3 and gathering level 10 can collect Flour everyday and activities like gathering, combat and fishing in the wild will drop Mooncake ingredients randomly. Different kinds of Mooncakes can be made with the flour and the ingredients and players can give gifts to the designated residents nearby.
Sky Lanterns will return to add to the celebrations of the Mid-Autumn Festival. You can receive a free Sky Lantern everyday and upon flying players will receive rewards. Additional rewards would be given to players that fulfill other's wishes.
A strange old man has arrived at Hope 101 and is requesting help from Survivors in exchange for rewards. The memory of returning home is a new addition to the lore of the game and maybe we can find secrets about the new city map.
Lucky Snap-Up is open! Let me explain the event to those of you who don't know. The more Federation Cheques you spend the higher are your chances of winning the draw. The winner will get the item for which the lottery was held and the others will get equal amount of Osmanthus.
Duo Training will be returning. Complete the specified tasks to obtain Mastery and Osmanthus. You can exchange this event excusive currency, Osmanthus, for items like a special Silver Axe or an event exclusive Furniture among a whole lot of other items in the Caravan Market.
-HOPE VALLEY-
We will be returning to Hope Valley in the next update of the City Exploration quest. It is found that Hope Valley, which is in the suburbs of the Levin City, is a safer route to enter the West. Let's see what clues we find here.
Hope Valley has special variants of the infected which look like Insects exposed to the infection. It is advised to enter with a team to overcome the difficulties that this new, yet nostalgic, area brings.
It is found that Molotovs and Torches have a surprising effect on the Infected Insects in the valley. Keep that in mind when you are doing this mission.
After completing the final mission you can collect the rewards from your mailbox. These rewards can only be collected once a day but you can go back again to help your friends. Resources in the valley, like Molotovs, can't be carried with you back home.
-MALL-
We earlier saw that the Outfit section had been revamped in the Mall and this time the Mall has received another update to the interface to keep things fresh.
The interface of the Mall is completely changed to a more refreshing and simple outlook.
Top Deals section has been added and everyone above manor level 2 can refresh to get a free gift everyday with an occasional discount package being there.
From 12th to 26th September, the 2018 Christmas Furniture Pack will be sold in the Mall due to the high demand from the players.
OTHER CHANGES
Weapon and Armor Accessories that are lower than Level 7 can now also be upgraded by adding any level of Mechanical and Armor Materials. This will make it easier for newer players to survive in the game. Part Composition has been removed.
When the Acting Mayor has provided for 30 days of service, they can turn into the Mayor of the camp to lead it actively. This is another change highly asked for by players because of the Mayor going MIA for months.
When you add a friend to blacklist or delete a friend, there will be a second confirmation so you don't accidentally perform the action. Further, friendliness will have a 3 days grace period after which it will be reset.
The upper limit of the Treasure Chests activity in the Charles Town Clash is adjusted to 3000 and the points gained from buried chests are slightly increased. This will reduce the time needed to spend in Clash greatly, which will be a sigh of relief for players.
The Treasure Chests in Charles Town Clash cannot be buried in the Military Factory area now.
In some cases players were able to farm prestige by knocking down the same player in FarStar City. That has been fixed in this update.
